Career Stats: Felicia Willoughby graduates from Tech as one of the most decorated and accomplished Hokies in program history … Willoughby appeared in 124 matches, playing in 468 total sets … She set three new career records, retiring with 454 block assists, 552 total blocks, and a .331 hitting percentage … Additionally, she has three season records and two freshman records to her name … She finished fifth all-time in career block solos (98) and career kills (1,289), averaging 2.75 kills per set and 1.18 total blocks per set … She had 300-plus kills and 100-plus blocks all four years, earning over 400 points every season … She added 226 career digs, 43 assists, 33 aces and a total of 1,647 career points … Willoughby is a three-time All-America Honorable Mention, Tech’s first ever player to garner more than one honor … She was a four-time VaSID first team all-state selection, and a three-time AVCA All-East Region and All-ACC selection, after winning Rookie of the year by both committees as a freshman.
2010: Earned her third consecutive AVCA All-America Honorable Mention … VaSID Player of the Year … VaSID first-team all-state … AVCA All-East Region … Preseason All-ACC … First team All-ACC … Named to the all-tournament team in all four preseason tournaments … ACC Player of the Week on Oct. 18 after hitting .609 with 29 kills and eight blocks, averaging 4.14 kills and 1.14 blocks per set, against Duke and Wake Forest, helping to knock of the first-place then-RPI #9 Blue Devils … Set three new career records, retiring with a .331 career hitting percentage, 454 block assists and 552 total blocks … Finished third in the ACC and 39th in the nation as well as third all-time at Virginia Tech, hitting .364 on the season … Finished ninth in the ACC with 124 blocks, (22 solo, 102 assists) … Started all 32 matches, appearing in all 120 sets … Additionally, had 328 kills, 33 digs, 15 assists and five aces on the season … Notched double-digit kills in 20 matches … Led the team in blocks 18 times, in hitting percentage 10 times and in kills six times, leading the team in all three categories on Sept. 10 at Western Kentucky … Hit .768 (11-0-14) with five blocks on Dec. 3 against Delaware in the NCAA Tournament, which is the fifth-best attack clip in Tech history.
2009: Named honorable mention AVCA All-America for the second straight year, the first two-time All-American in school history … Also became the first Hokie to earn back-to-back AVCA All-East Region honors and three consecutive All-ACC accolades, after being named to the first team … Notched VaSID first-team all-state recognition … Started all 31 matches and played in 119 sets … Led the Hokies with 139 blocks, including 25 block solos, and was one kill shy of the team lead with 332 on the season … Ranked third in the conference and 56th in the nation with 1.17 blocks per set … Earned a double-double with 14 kills and a career-high 13 blocks at North Carolina … The 13 blocks ranks second all-time in a single match in the Hokie record books … Also swatted a career-best 12 block solos against the Tar Heels, which ranks third all-time … Recorded 21 kills in a career-high 46 swings versus Duke … Hit .296 on the year and averaged 2.79 kills per set … Sits in first in the school record books with a career hitting percentage of .320 … Also sits in fourth place all-time with 428 career blocks and 352 career block assists … Tallied 16 double-digit kill matches, second-most on the team … Garnered the VT Tournament MVP award … Received all-tournament team honors at the Hilton Garden Hokie Invite.

2007: Was among the nation’s top freshmen… Named the ACC, AVCA East Region and VaSID Freshman of the Year … Named a Rising Star by CVU.com … Noted as the second-best blocker in the nation’s 2007 freshman class … Led the team and ACC with 1.51 blocks per game, finishing the season tied for 19th nationally … Started and played in 30 matches and 114 games … Led the team with 172 blocks and a .274 attack percentage and was second with 303 kills … Blocked 11 attacks against William & Mary, placing her tied for fifth in Tech’s single-match record book for total blocks … Finished season holding the program’s single-season and freshman season records for block assists and total blocks … Was fifth on Tech’s freshman kills records and second in hitting percentage and solo blocks … Led the team in blocking through 13 matches and hitting percentage six times … Named to the Hawthorn Suites Hokie Invitational and Panther Invitational all-tournament teams … Named to the All-ACC Freshman Team, the Virginia All-State first team and was an AVCA East Region Honorable Mention.
