Prior to Virginia Tech ... Averaged a triple-double with 24 points, 19 rebounds, and 11 blocked shots per game ... Led Cheshire (Conn.) Academy to a 19-3 record with the three losses occurring while she was away from the team participating in a tournament for the Mali national team ... In her final games of the season, Diawara scored 45 and 47 points respectively.
