As a junior (2012-13): Played in 17 games with 10 starts… was second on the team in scoring, averaging 12.5 points per game… led the team in rebounding with 8.5 per game… hit double-digits in 13 games, including three with 20 or more points… had five games with double-digit rebounds and recorded five double-doubles this season… posted 28 points in Virginia Tech debut versus Wake Forest… had 10 points and 12 rebounds against North Carolina A&T… tallied 16 points at Virginia… posted 15 points and five boards at North Carolina… tallied 21 points and 13 rebounds versus Boston College… notched 12 points against No. 10 Maryland… recorded 10 points and nine rebounds at No. 21 Florida State… pulled down 14 a season-best 14 boards against Clemson… posted 12 points and 13 rebounds at Miami… had 10 points versus No. 16 North Carolina… recorded 21 points and 12 rebounds against No. 19 Florida State… followed that with 11 points and 11 boards at Wake Forest… recorded 12 points versus Miami… had 11 points and six rebounds against Miami in the ACC Tournament.

Prior to Virginia Tech: Played at Gulf Coast State and named the Conference Player of the Year, earned first team NJCCA All-America honors and was a top-3 finalist for National JUCO Player of the Year… Averaged 17 points, nine rebounds and 1.8 steals per game… Also competed at Grayson County College as a freshman, earning Conference Player of the Year honors as well as first team NJCCA All-America… Was a silver medalist in the U18 African qualifiers.
