    Women's basketball's Ayers to transfer
    Tech junior center leaves program

    BLACKSBURG, Va. – Virginia Tech head women’s basketball coach Dennis Wolff announced Tuesday that junior center Taylor Ayers has decided to transfer at the end of the fall semester and is no longer on the team.

    Ayers averaged 3.0 points and 3.0 rebounds per game during her career. She also notched 30 blocks and appeared in 53 games with three starts in her time with the Hokies. Ayers set a career-high of 14 points against VCU last season and had a high nine rebounds three times during her career.
