2014-15: Picked up a decision in Tech's win over Newberry to kick off the season … Sat out the Hokie Open with a broken nose … Returned to win his bout in the dual meet against Gardner-Webb, but dropped a tough 3-2 decision to North Dakota State's No. 13 Hayden Zillmer … Lost to seventh-ranked Kenny Courts of Ohio State in the dual match … Took eighth at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational … Defeated Michigan's Domenic Abounader for his best best of the tournament … Picked up a 5-3 win over 18th-ranked Matt McCutcheon of Penn State in the dual … Rallied from a 4-1 deficit to beat James Suvak 8-6 in the finals of the Virginia Duals to help lift the Hokies to the team title … Helped propel Tech to a big dual meet win on the road at Northern Iowa with a 10-3 win over Cody Caldwell in the final match … Suffered a knee injury in a match against Duke's Jacob Kasper, having to take a injury default … Was winning the match 5-3 when the injury occurred.
2013-14: Went 14-9 on the season and went 7-3 in duals … An NCAA Qualifier at 174 pounds, receiving an at-large bid … Had one major decision, a technical fall and a pin … Went 5-2 at the Las Vegas Invitational to place seventh … Missed the Midlands Championships due to a knee injury … Injury kept him out of the lineup all of January and most of February … Lost his lone ACC dual match … Returned to the mat on Feb. 23 in the final dual match against Ohio State … Dropped a 2-1 decision to No. 11 Mark Martin in that match … Went 2-2 at the ACC Championship to place fourth at 174 pounds … Went 1-2 at the NCAAs.
2012-13: An NCAA qualifier at 174 pounds … Went 22-13 … Placed third at the ACC Championships to earn a bid to Des Moines … Went 11-7 in dual meets, 3-2 in ACC duals … Had four major decisions and a technical fall … Went 2-2 at The Midlands … Fell to No. 9 Jon Fausey of Virginia 4-2 in the dual meet, scoring the only offensive points of the match with a takedown … Picked up a 3-2 win over Wisconsin's Scott Liegel in the dual meet … Dropped a 2-1 decision in the tiebreaker to No. 3 Nick Heflin of Ohio State in a dual match … Went 4-1 at the Hokie Open, placing second.
