High School: The tallest wrestler to ever commit to the Hokies as he stands at 6-8 … Wrestled at Chambersburg High for Coach Doug Rine … Placed second at the Pennsylvania State Tournament as a junior after going 40-2 with 25 pins and has a 90-24 record in high school … Had “Tommy John” surgery in September of 2011 and missed his senior season … Returned in the summer to earn All-America honors at the NHSCA Senior Nationals … Won the NHSCA Junior Nationals in folkstyle and placed eighth at the Junior Nationals in Greco Roman at 215 pounds … Took third at the NHSCA Sophomore Nationals and was a Cadet All-American in 2010.
