2012-13: Redshirted … Won the Edinboro Open … Placed fourth at the National Collegiate Open … Wrestling unattached, went 1-2 at the Midlands Championships … Competed in the Purple Raider Open … Went 4-1 at the Wolfpack Open, placing fifth … Went 3-2 at the Hokie Open, placing fourth.

2011-12: The ACC runner-up at the ACC Championships … 2012 All-ACC … Went 12-8 on the season, 8-3 in duals … Went 5-0 in ACC action … Had four major decisions … Wrestling unattached, won the Wolfpack Open at heavyweight with a 5-0 mark … Went 3-0 at the Harris Open, hosted by Ashland University, to take first place while wrestling unattached … Picked up an overtime win in the final bout against Virginia to seal the team win … Went 2-2 at the Nittany Lion Open … Competed at the Midlands.

2010-11: Wrestled his best toward the end of the season … Went 14-21 overall and 8-16 in dual matches … Posted a 2-3 mark in ACC dual meets … Dominated top-seeded Mike Salopek of Virginia at the ACC Championships with a major decision … Recorded four major decisions and a pin … Picked up 31 points for the team in dual matches.

2009-10: The starter at 197 pounds all season as a true freshman … Got better as the season progressed … Posted a 3-16 overall record … Went 3-14 in dual matches and 1-3 in ACC competition … Had one major decision … Finished the regular season with a pair of wins, including a major decision over NC State’s Christian McClean … Was Tech’s representative at 197 pounds for the ACC Championships.

High School: Wrestled at Frank W. Cox High School for Coach Corey Williams … Took third place at the 2009 Virginia AAA state championships for Cox High … Finished one win away from earning All-America honors at the NHSCA Senior National … Also played football.
