2011-12: An NCAA qualifier at 125 pounds after receiving a wildcard spot … Went 1-2 at the NCAAs, finishing his season at 28-15, 4-4 in duals … Went 1-1 in ACC action … Placed fourth at the ACC Championships … Picked up four major decisions, two technical falls and two pins … Placed third at the Hokie Open in the 125-pound class … Went 4-1 at the Harris Open, hosted by Ashland University, taking third place … Placed third at the Nittany Lion Open after going 4-1 … Won a title at the Shorty Hitchcock Memorial, going 4-0.
