BLACKSBURG - Virginia Tech head wrestling coach Kevin Dresser released the match ups for the Hokies' intrasquad wrestle-offs, which will be held Friday and Saturday around a Coaches' Clinic. The first round will begin Friday night at 7 p.m., and the finals will be held Saturday at noon. Due to volleyball and basketball contests going on at the same time, both rounds will be held in the Hokies' practice room, located in the back gym on the second floor in Cassell Coliseum.

The final tryouts will be a best-of-three format and there will also be several exhibition matches.

Freshman heavyweight Cody Gardner, from Christiansburg, Va., will not participate in the Hokies' home opener on Nov. 11 due to a violation of team rules. He will not participate this weekend, either.
