Women's Soccer Drops Forst A-10 Game Of Season
    Hokies fall to Colonials, 1-0 in D.C.

    WASHINGTON, D.C. - The Virginia Tech women's soccer team fell to George Washington University, 1-0, at South Riding Field on Sunday.

    Tiffany William scored the lone goal of the match for the Colonials at the 73:03 mark.

    Tech totaled 13 shots, six corner kicks, one save and 15 fouls. George Washington tallied three shots, four corner kicks, six saves and 12 fouls.

    With the loss, the Hokies fall to 4-3 overall and 0-1 in Atlantic 10 competition.

    Tech will return to action October 1 when it travels to Philadelphia to face La Salle University. Kick off is set for 3 p.m.
