Hokies Receive At-Large Bid to NCAA Tournament
    Tech to make first-ever NCAA appearance

    BLACKSBURG, Va. - The Virginia Tech women's soccer team was awarded its first-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament Monday afternoon.

    The Hokies (11-8) will face William & Mary (11-6-4) in the first round in Chapel Hill, N.C. Game-time will be determined by the University of North Carolina.

    "I am thrilled beyond words to be playing in the postseason for the first time in school history," said head coach Kelly Cagle. "We have a lot of respect for William & Mary and we have to be at our best in order to get a win in the first round."

    North Carolina and Campbell will meet in the other match on Thursday, with the two winners meeting on Saturday.
