The Hokies have had one of their best seasons in program history this year posting a never-before-seen 13-6 regular season record, and finishing fourth in the ACC, their best all-time conference finish. Tech notched four top-25 victories this season and most recently took down No. 10 Wake Forest, 1-0, in the quarterfinals of the ACC Tournament as freshman Kelly Conheeney scored the game-winner in overtime. Conheeney later earned All-ACC Tournament team honors for her late heroics, but the Hokies were bounced in the semifinals by top-seeded
