    Midfielder honored for second-straight season

BLACKSBURG, Va. – Sophomore midfielder Kelly Conheeney was named to the VaSID All-State second team Tuesday by the state’s Sports Information Directors. This is the second-consecutive season in which Conheeney has earned All-State second team honors.

The Ridgewood, N.J., native started all 21 games for the Hokies this season, who made the NCAA Tournament for the third-straight season. Conheeney led the team with 11 assists, 21 points and three game-winning goals, while also tying two other players for second on the squad in scoring after burying five goals this season.
