  1. READ ALL THE INFORMATION ON THIS PAGE.

  2. Follow the link at the bottom of the page to be taken to our online verification page. You will be asked to provide your Virginia Tech PID and your password. This will be checked to verify that you are in fact a current student here at Virginia Tech, or were enrolled on April 16, or a full-time Faculty/Staff member. Both categories will sign in on the same page.

  3. Your personal information will then be displayed and you will be required to verify that information. Once you've had a chance to check it over click on the submit button to enter the lottery.

  4. A Sign-Up Confirmation page will be returned. If for some reason your information doesn't check out, you will be returned an error message instead of the Sign-Up Confirmation to let you know what piece of information wasn't verified and what needs to be done to correct it.

  5. Once the cut-off date has passed, the lottery will be run on all valid submissions. A separate lottery will be conducted for students and faculty/staff.

  6. Once the lottery has been conducted, each individual awarded a ticket will receive an email. The email will contain a link for the pick-up page. Follow that link to the barcoded pick-up receipt you will use to pick up the ticket. Your receipt will also have a date and time listed. That is the time you may come to the coliseum to claim your ticket.

  7. Tickets will be distributed at the Basketball Ticket Office, located in the lobby of Cassell Coliseum.

  8. Winning registrations will be required to pick-up their tickets within a pre-determined time listed on your barcoded pick-up receipt. Any tickets not picked-up within that time frame will be forfeited and redistributed.

  9. A valid Virginia Tech ID will be required at the admission gate for all general admission ticket entrees, and no re-entry to the field will be allowed. Spring 2007 graduates that longer have their Virginia Tech Student ID card will be checked off of a list at the gate.

  10. Submitting a request does not guarantee a ticket. Winners will be selected at random.
